Venture Manager – Life Sciences & Health

(m/f/x, 40 h/week, to start as soon possible)

As Venture Manager you will:

  • be responsible for recruiting the most promising deep tech startups in Europe and beyond
  • support the selection process by assessing ventures on multiple business- and domain-related dimensions
  • manage the venture onboarding process for an outstanding experience for our entrepreneurs from day one
  • be the primary point of contact for the continuous interaction with the startups over the course of the entire program
  • be a strong everyday promoter of the CDL program, its related activities and our overall value proposition
  • support session operations with a hands-on mentality
  • collaborate with the entire CDL Berlin team on special projects, such as developing the stream hypothesis, exploring new partnerships in the startup and healthcare ecosystem, or continuously improving the program

You are qualified because you:

  • have experience in working with and coaching startups at the intersection of health and deep tech (being familiar with incubator and accelerator program operations is a plus)
  • have a high appreciation for research and the scientific community
  • are highly interested in the future of life sciences and health, new technology trends and scientific discoveries
  • are driven by achievement and contributing to a high-performance team
  • have a strong service orientation and very good communication skills
  • are well-organized, able to multi-task, and meet deadlines while paying attention to details
  • are fluent in spoken and written English
  • are flexible regarding working hours and able to stay calm in stressful situations
