Emma Kulow is an Associate at AccelR8, an early-stage VC fund based in Boston that invests in equitable climate change mitigation.

Emma’s background is in early-stage operations and strategy. She was a founding team member of CapShift, a startup unlocking the $1 trillion philanthropic market for impact investing, where she played a key role across the company’s verticals including product development, investment research, operations, marketing, and more. During her time at CapShift, the business grew to mobilize over $100 million into impact investments. Emma also evaluated and developed strategic programmatic directions while at Prime Coalition, an organization focused on sustainable, effective, and scalable solutions to climate change.

Emma holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia, where she was an Echols Scholar and graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
