Hilal Koc Savci

Advisor, Investor & Board Member; Global Product Privacy Lead, Meta

Hilal is a global leader with experience in product strategy, operations & marketing in the tech, consulting and finance fields. She leads the EMEA product privacy practice at Meta, guiding product teams across consumer and business apps on how to build with privacy by design. Previously, she led product development and marketing for the international markets across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger.

Hilal started her career in investment banking at Credit Suisse covering the tech sector, which sparked her interest in how technology can drive innovation and disruption. She joined Google in the earlier days and went on to work in consulting, corporate development and product. Prior to joining Meta in 2017, Hilal led business development and partnerships for LinkedIn, and supported the growth of several start-ups as an operator, advisor and board member. She has been an angel investor for 10+ years, focusing on disruptive founders and technologies powered by applied AI/ML and IoT.

A San Francisco native, London transplant by way of Istanbul, Buenos Aires & NYC, Hilal is passionate about the fintech sector’s ability to transform lives and economies while also leading in privacy, inclusivity, and security.
