James Cronin is an entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience of founding, scaling and exiting businesses and social enterprises in a range of sectors including Internet, eCommerce, GovTech, Tech For Good, Food, and Retail.
Outside of work James is passionate about volunteering and serves on the boards of several charities and NGOs. He is a trustee of the British Council and chairs the boards of the human rights NGO the Open Rights Group, and UK Citizens Online Democracy which operates the multi-award winning mySociety projects.
For fun he runs the UK’s finest boutique chocolaterie, Paul A Young Fine Chocolates, which he is exceptionally proud of.
James graduated with an MA in Physics from Magdalen College, Oxford.
