Martin Picard

Co-Founder and Global Head of Real Estate, Sonder

As co-founder at Sonder, Martin Picard has grown the company from a small student subletting business to an internationally-known hospitality brand with over 10,500 units of prime real estate in 35 markets across North America and EMEA and nearly 1 million guests hosted.

Since 2015, Martin has overseen multiple verticals at Sonder including Finance, Supply Chain, and Growth/Real Estate, and has co-led the company’s fundraising efforts from Seed to Series E ($560m USD), securing funding from top investors including Fidelity, iNovia, WestCap, Tao Ventures, Valor, Greylock, Spark and Bezos Ventures. After three years in San Francisco, Martin is happy to return to his hometown of Montreal.

Martin was previously with Deloitte and holds a Certified Public Accountant designation (CPA) as well as a B.Comm. in Accounting from Concordia University.
