Matthew Dahabieh

SVP and Head of Green Chemistry Solutions, Terramera

Matthew Dahabieh is SVP and Head of Green Chemistry Solutions at Terramera, a Vancouver-based AgTech company.

In his role at Terramera, Matthew is responsible for leading the company’s efforts to develop and commercialize disruptive technologies for the global crop protection industry.

Prior to joining Terramera, Matthew spent six years with a Vancouver-based bioengineering company, the latter three of which were as Chief Scientific Officer. In this role, Matthew was responsible for a wide range of functions, including R&D leadership, IP strategy, fundraising, and business development.

Matthew completed his MSc in Genetics, and PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of British Columbia. After his post-graduate education, Matthew completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the J. David Gladstone Institute in San Francisco. Matthew also has formal training in business and entrepreneurship from Simon Fraser University.
