Robert Jordan has spent nine years at CDC Group (now BII), the UK’s Development Finance Institution – a market-leading emerging market impact/sustainable investment firm. Robert works primarily in late-stage venture and early-growth investments ($10-50m cheque sizes), specifically with impact and sustainability focused companies. His particular focus is on innovation and tech-enabled business models. Prior to CDC, Robert spent seven years at the UK Treasury, in roles such as Private Secretary to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, and as Head of International Development. He has a master’s in development economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies, and an MBA from London Business School.
