The Health Stream at CDL-Oxford provides exceptional founders with the opportunity to accelerate the commercialization of their health innovation by leveraging the guidance and mentorship of accomplished entrepreneurs, experienced operators, subject matter experts, clinicians and investors in the life science and healthcare industry.
CDL startups work with these mentors to sharpen objectives, prioritize time and resources, raise capital, and engage with experts working on the frontiers of research.
The startups attend five objective-setting sessions between October and June. CDL is a non-profit organization. There are no fees for participation and CDL does not take any equity. Learn more about the CDL program.
The Health Stream at CDL-Oxford is particularly suited to founders building in therapeutics, diagnostics, digital health and medical devices that significantly impacts the speed, quality, cost and access to healthcare. This stream is tailored towards early-stage companies (early venture or growth) and ideally pre-series A ventures.

CDL mentors include accomplished entrepreneurs, experienced operators, active angel and venture investors, world-leading scientists, engineers, and economists. Mentors meet every eight weeks at CDL-Oxford to help founders set objectives over the program’s nine-month duration.
Companies accepted to the CDL Health Stream benefit from tailored mentorship to enable massive scaling in both existing and new markets. These experts meet with companies periodically to evaluate their technologies, suggest improvements, and to explore formal advising engagements.
