Alex McIsaac

Partner, Global Founders Capital

As a Partner at GFC Alex is responsible for building the Canadian investment practice. GFC is a seed and lifecycle investor with over $3Bn capital worldwide and 250+ portfolio companies. Previously, Alex was a Principal with the Seed Fund and Women in Tech Fund at BDC Venture Capital and worked as founding employee at NRStor Inc. where he supported business growth including raising over $170m over 6 years and a sale to Blackstone. Prior to that, he worked in venture at Northwater Capital. He holds a Bachelors of Science Honors degree from Queen’s University and an Honors Business Administration (HBA) from the Richard Ivey School of Business. Alexander is the Co-Chair of CAMH Engage; a committee of young professionals focused on raising funds and awareness for mental health.
