Ari Wright

Principal, Bison Ventures

Ari Wright is a Principal at Seattle-based Bison Ventures, a diversified frontier tech early-stage investment firm launched in 2021 by two Partners who formerly managed the Cascade (Bill Gates) venture portfolio. Her academic background and career span wide across biomedical engineering, early-stage climate investing, and creative real estate investment and development.

Prior to Bison, Ari was with Braemar Energy Ventures, a NY-based $600M AUM pioneering fund in energy technology investing. She joined Braemar originally as an intern, eventually joining the Investment team for several years prior to going to receive her MBA. After business school, she spent three years at Global Holdings Management Group in New York, where she led acquisitions and development for US Hospitality real estate and helped build out the firm’s $1B+ international hotel platform Lore Group before re-joining Braemar Energy Ventures in 2020.

Ari has a B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University, an interdisciplinary M.S. degree in Engineering Green Technology from USC, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
