Clémentine Lalande is an entrepreneur (Once, exited to SDV). She graduated from the Ecole Centrale in Paris and at the Technical University of Berlin, studying industrial engineering.

She started her professional career as a strategy consultant at the Boston Consulting Group in Paris, where she was in the Energy practice for 6 years, catering S&P 500 clients in the Power, Oil & Gas, and Renewable energy sectors.

Clémentine then moved to Venture Capital with Idinvest and Yunus Social Business, where she invested in various tech startups in Europe and created early-stage funds in developing countries on 3 continents.

In 2017, Clémentine decided to leave the world of venture capital to join a start-up. In 2018, she launched Pickable, a feminist dating app, awarded by Apple, enabling women to date online with more privacy, discretion and control. Clémentine then became the CEO of another “post-Tinder“ dating app, Once, which she grew to 10 million users and exited to the Dating Group in January 2021.

Clémentine Lalande has more than a decade of technology experience and corporate development, lived and has worked in over 10 countries. As a mentor, she supports startup Founders in various networks and shares her experience.

Clémentine Lalande lives with her husband and 3 kids in Paris and is also a jazz Singer & mezzo soprano.
