Dan Cohrs is a co-founder and CFO of Mobile X Global, Inc., launching in early 2022 as a connectivity-as-a-service MVNO in the U.S. He serves on the boards of Fuse Energy, Corinex Communications, and ViewsIQ. He was recently CFO at D-Wave Systems, the quantum computing pioneer, for which he raised more than $140 million of capital.
Dan’s experience ranges from start-ups through large multinationals, in senior corporate strategy and finance positions at Marriott, Northwest Airlines, GTE, Global Crossing, and Rentech, a clean energy and fertilizer company. As a CFO he managed IPOs for Global Crossing and Rentech Nitrogen Partners, he has raised more than $25 billion of capital in all forms, and completed acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures ranging from $200 thousand to $20 billion.
Dan has taught courses in corporate governance at Cornell University’s Johnson School of Management, and corporate finance at the Harvard Business School. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics, Finance, and Public Policy from Cornell University’s Johnson School of Management and a B.S. in Engineering from Michigan State University.
