Elly Hardwick

Investor and Non-Executive Director

Elly Hardwick is an investor/board member, former founding CEO of Credit Benchmark, and a former chief digital officer at UBS. Elly is an investor and non-executive director focused on the intersection of financial services and technology, with a particular interest in b-b and institutional financial services. Her executive experience encompasses time spent as both customer and vendor of fintech services: she served as the chief digital officer of UBS and as head of innovation of Deutsche Bank and was part of the founding team and, subsequently, the CEO of Credit Benchmark, an innovative provider of consensus credit risk data and multiple times Fintech 50 member.

Elly is now a full-time non-executive director, investor and advisor. She serves on the boards of Axis Capital, a global specialty insurer; Alpha Bank, one of Greece’s largest systemic banks; and Luminor, a leading pan-Baltic bank. She is also an external member of the audit committee of Cambridge University.

Elly holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a master’s (Cantab) from the University of Cambridge. In her spare time, she is a keen amateur rower and classical musician.
