Khatera Hazin is the Director of Research and Development at CarboNet Water Treatment, a Vancouver-based clean tech company where she manages a team of talented researchers and engineers and oversees the development of innovative solutions for water purification.
Khatera has over 15 years of research experience in university and industry settings with a deep background in catalysis, polymer chemistry, and water treatment.
Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to work in Europe and Canada, gaining valuable insights and perspectives from her research experiences in different cultures and environments. Her work has been recognized through numerous publications in scientific journals and several patent applications in the field of polymer science and water treatment.
Khatera holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of British Columbia, Canada and a. B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry from the Free University of Berlin, Germany.
