Mackenzie Chambers is the founder and CEO of Square Root Financial, a finance and accounting firm for high growth companies that currently manages financials in excess of $2B. As a CPA-turned-entrepreneur, Mackenzie understands first-hand the needs of emerging high growth companies. She is a mentor for TechStars and recent finalist for top CFO in L.A. by the Los Angeles Business Journal.

Mackenzie was a founding member of the technology and venture banking division at Grandpoint Bank, a commercial bank headquartered in Los Angeles that was acquired by Pacific Premier Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ:PPBI). Prior to that, she was a co-founder of wmbly, inc., a social platform for live and on-demand video content. She began her career at Deloitte and Touche auditing public and emerging companies.

Mackenzie is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and graduated from USC’s Marshall School of Business with both a master’s in accounting and a master’s in business taxation. She has a bachelor’s in economics from Claremont McKenna College.
