Mike Cegelski, Panache Ventures

Mike’s passion is nurturing entrepreneurship. He’s currently the Managing Partner at Panache Ventures and was previously a Managing Partner at 500 Startups Canada. As an entrepreneur, he was involved with Beltron from 1984 to 2000 and iBwave from 2003 to 2015. As an angel investor and mentor, he’s worked with more than 60 companies in the past 15 years. Mike is visibly involved in the startup investment community through Panache Ventures, Anges Québec, the National Angel Capital Organization (NACO), and many other initiatives. He’s been awarded NACO’s Canadian Angel Investor of the Year in 2015 and Ambassador of the Year by the Faculty of Science at Sherbrooke University in 2017.
