Namat is a senior advisor and expert on climate change and sustainability issues, as well as an early-stage investor passionate about technological innovations focusing on sustainability.

Namat has more than 20 years of experience in the field of clean technologies, the carbon market and climate change. She began her career as an environmental consultant in South America, then joined the Government of Canada to work on the assessment and financing of emerging clean technologies (Cleantech) in early demonstration stage, first as analyst then as head of the evaluation group. Subsequently, she was responsible for the development of national and international standards in ​​climate change and energy efficiency with the CSA group. She is currently a senior advisor on carbon markets and on compliance strategies for greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction policies. She holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering with expertise in the energy sector and has also served as board member of various organisations. She brings in a combination of strategic, technical and market analysis expertise.
