Peter Williams

Co-Founder, Vaka Health Foundation

Peter Williams is an accomplished geoscientist, educator, innovator, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He co-founded the ASX top 100-listed company Independence Group and has extensive executive experience leading the multi-billion-dollar exploration and mining company WMC Resources. Peter has played significant roles in the early-stage development of other listed companies such as Bellevue Resources and Boss Energy, each with market caps of $1.5B and $1.4B, respectively.

Additionally, Peter co-founded several technology companies, including Intiera, which became part of S&P Capital IQ Pro platform; HiSeis, the world’s first HardRock-focused seismic company; and Portable PPB, revolutionizing ppb level assaying for gold using pXRF technology.

Peter is also a co-founder of the Vaka Health Foundation, a non-profit focused on providing education, training, and entrepreneurship opportunities to nurses and midwives in Eastern, Southern, and Central Africa using mobile technologies. His involvement extends to the development and application of AI technologies and participation in creating social impact documentaries.
