CDL-Oxford FinTech
For founders developing game-changing solutions for FinTech.
The FinTech revolution is about to enter its next phase where innovation will go beyond bringing digital and online solutions to the finance industry. CDL-Oxford will join the mission to make accessible to all: secure financial services, tools, and assets. Supporting commercially driven seed-stage, science and tech-based ventures. The Fintech Stream at CDL-Oxford operates from an ecosystem moulded at the heart of financial innovation and at the doorstep of the financial capital of the world; London.
CDL startups work with these mentors to sharpen objectives, prioritise time and resources, raise capital, and engage with experts working on the frontiers of research.
The startups attend four in-person objective-setting sessions between November and June. CDL is a non-profit organization. There are no fees for participation and CDL does not take any equity. Learn more about the CDL program.
Who Should Apply?
The CDL-Oxford Fintech stream is particularly suited to founders who are developing solutions for finance industry largely based on the application of embedded finance and payment systems, artificial intelligence/machine learning, data driven innovation in finance, blockchain, and Web 3.0., to solve a diverse set of financial industry challenges, including embedded finance solutions, payment systems, secure banking, data explainability, regulatory reporting, digitisation of assets, as well as providing new products and enabling financial access for B2C and B2B markets.

Our Mentors
CDL mentors include accomplished entrepreneurs, experienced operators, active angel and venture investors, world-leading scientists, engineers, and economists. Mentors meet every eight weeks in Oxford to help founders set objectives over the program’s nine-month duration.
Companies accepted to the CDL FinTech Stream benefit from advice from exit entrepreneurs, industry executives, and academics who are world-leading experts in the field of FinTech. These experts meet with companies periodically to evaluate their technologies, suggest improvements, and to explore formal advising engagements.
