Axiom Therapeutics
Axiom Therapeutics has developed a next-generation covalent drug discovery platform that combines quantum-accurate physics simulations with machine-learning acceleration to design novel small molecule covalent therapeutics for previously undruggable protein targets. The company was co-founded by Ryan Geiser, CEO (Cambridge PhD in Biophysical Chemistry, Gates Scholar, ex-Lazard), and Chris Haggard, CTO (Cambridge PhD in Computational Chemistry). Axiom’s platform, TrueBond, is the first to accurately predict covalent binding kinetics, enabling a 10,000× larger chemical search space and 5x faster design cycles than current computational or experimental approaches. This kinetic insight drives the creation of more selective, potent, and durable covalent drugs, yielding novel hits and guiding lead optimisation with exceptional precision. The breakthrough has attracted top scientific and commercial advisors, including Adam Gilbert (ex-Pfizer), Dan Nomura (Frontier Medicines, UC Berkeley), Ed Tate (Imperial), Leo Wossnig (ex-LabGenius), Thomas Clozel (Owkin), and Lord David Prior (former NHS Chair).
