Jaia Robotics Inc. (Jaia) is an ocean technology company that is developing micro-sized, lower-cost autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) to serve as aquatic data collection systems. There is a need for cost and time-effective, easily adaptable solutions to democratize aquatic data collection at scale, as current solutions are expensive and difficult to operate. Jaia’s solution delivers easy-to-operate, high-speed pods of micro-AUVs (JaiaBots) that enable synoptic data collection over wide areas, with no additional infrastructure requirements.
