Xylyx is a regenerative medicine company that uses its patented XC™ Platform to bioengineer human organ grafts (lung, liver, kidney, heart) for clinical transplantation to save patient lives, increase hospital transplant volume, and save payer costs associated with end-stage disease. In contrast to biofabricated tissue constructs and xeno (animal) organs, the company is addressing the critical shortage of organs for transplantation by bioengineering human, whole organ grafts that provide human anatomic and immunologic compatibility. The company has completed IND‐enabling studies that demonstrate feasibility, efficacy, and safety.
