Andy Hendricks serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Patterson-UTI, one of the largest onshore contract drilling and oilfield services providers in the United States. Under Andy’s leadership, Patterson-UTI has pioneered the use of robotics, real-time data analytics, and automated ‘super-rigs’ that are redefining modern energy production.

Before Patterson-UTI, Andy spent 24 years at Schlumberger, culminating as a drilling division President. He is a past Chairman of the International Association of Drilling Contractors, was named IADC Contractor of the Year in 2021, and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He serves as an energy contributor on CNBC and has testified on energy matters before the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources.

Andy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
