Daniel is a Founding Partner at Vesper Alpha, a venture capital firm focused on deep tech, and an advisor and investor to technology companies. He brings more than 25 years’ experience in the technology industry, including executive roles at Seequent and Trimble across both start-up and large, established business units.
As Chief Revenue Officer at Seequent, Daniel led more than 10x sales growth and was part of the executive team that negotiated private equity investment and the company’s subsequent sale to NASDAQ-listed Bentley Systems for $1.05B USD. He has also advised a technology startup through its acquisition by a Fortune 100 company.
Daniel enjoys helping founders find product-market fit and, just as importantly, commercial fit.
He is based in Christchurch, New Zealand, and is a keen, if gradually slowing, runner.
