Dennis Hoffman is the Founder of The Retirement Strategy and a former Senior Vice President at Dell Technologies, where he led corporate strategy and the global telecom systems business unit over a 22‑year tenure with EMC and Dell Technologies. Over a 40‑year career in technology, he has built, advised, and run businesses ranging from Avid Technology to Storigen Systems, the distributed storage networking startup he co‑founded and later sold to EMC. Before joining EMC, he held strategy, marketing, and engineering roles at companies including Avid Technology, Marakon Associates, Eastman Kodak, and Polaroid Corporation. Dennis holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Union College and an MBA from Harvard Business School, and he has taught entrepreneurship and strategy at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
