Florencia Herra Vega is the CEO and CTO of AlleyCorp’s Montreal-based development team, supporting AlleyCorp’s incubations as their technical right hand. She is also the VP of conference at NorthSec, the largest applied security event in Canada. Floh was previously the director of architecture and platform at WorkJam, and the co-founder and CTO of Peerio Technologies.
Florencia likes talking to people about problems solved or caused by computers. In her current role with AlleyCorp, she helps founders hire and structure product engineering teams at the pre-seed and seed stage. She is also involved in AlleyCorp’s company creation process and adjacent to venture deals.
Costa Rican-born, Florencia immigrated to Canada in 2003 and has been using Montreal as her home base for writing code of variable quality since then.
