Furquan Kidwai is an entrepreneur and technology executive with extensive experience building and scaling digital platforms across healthcare, financial services, and emerging markets. He is the Founder and CEO of Dawaai, Pakistan’s leading digital health platform, which is transforming access to healthcare through an integrated ecosystem of e-pharmacy, diagnostics, telemedicine, and healthcare services. Under his leadership, Dawaai has grown from one of the country’s first technology-enabled digital pharmacies into a comprehensive healthcare platform serving millions of consumers.

Prior to founding Dawaai, Furquan spent nearly a decade in global financial markets, holding senior roles at RBS, Merrill Lynch, and Lehman Brothers. His experience spanned structured finance, derivatives, emerging markets, and Islamic finance, where he built and led businesses across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. This background provided him with deep expertise in scaling complex businesses, capital markets, and strategic growth.

Beyond his entrepreneurial work, Furquan serves as an Independent Board Member at Al Meezan Investment Management, Pakistan’s largest asset management company, and has previously served on the Advisory Board of Imperial College Business School, helping strengthen the connection between academia and industry.

As a founder, operator, and investor-backed entrepreneur, Furquan brings practical experience in building high-growth companies, navigating emerging markets, raising capital, and leveraging technology to solve large-scale healthcare challenges.
