Managing Director, Bisk Ventures

I manage a family office providing catalytic capital globally to early stage education technology startups focused on access, efficiency and efficacy in post secondary and professional learning. I actively mentor and advise at accelerators including Eduspaze in Singapore, WISE in Doha, Future of Learning Fund in Nairobi, USC EdVentures in LA where we are a founding member, and most recently have joined with Injini in Cape Town. I also served as an elector for the 2025 G20 start up competition in South Africa. I regularly participate at education industry investment events including ASU+GSV, StartEd, Learn Launch, Holon IQ summits and EdTechX. I’m a hands on advisor to BV portfolio companies – 45 startups and venture builds spanning more than a dozen countries – leveraging prior experience as senior strategy officer at industry-defining online program management services firm Bisk. For a dozen years at Bisk I had direct relationship responsibility to university presidents, provosts and deans, creating and supporting hundreds of enterprise online degree and executive education programs. I have also served in executive legal roles, handling regulatory matters within the highest levels of the US federal government, and negotiating complex technology services, software, M&A and IP agreements with many of the Fortune 500.
