Gerri currently serves as the Founding Partner at Specialist VC (early-stage), now investing out of their second fund (€50M). Was previously the Chief Business Officer of Fortumo, a Tallinn-based mobile payments company recently acquired by Boku (LSE:Boku) for $41M USD. Gerri played a critical role in Fortumo’s growth and in bringing on clients such as Google, Netflix and Spotify. Fortumo’s products allowed digital merchants to acquire new users through telco bundle partnerships and collect payments using carrier billing & mobile wallets (the company connected merchants to a network of more than 300 telcos and digital wallets in Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa).

Gerri has been a tech investor for more than 10 years with investments in such companies as Bolt, Veriff, Comodule, Monese, Starship.
