Kelly Matheson-King

Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Bluearth Renewables Inc

Kelly is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of BluEarth Renewables, a leading international renewable energy development and operations enterprise. She has over 20 years of experience in the North American renewable power sector. During that time Kelly has led the permitting, development, and operation of many pioneering wind, hydroelectric, and solar power facilities across a range of jurisdictions and power markets.

Kelly co-founded BluEarth in 2010. Since then, the company has grown to include over 130 employees, four offices across Canada and the US, and a portfolio that includes hundreds of MW of renewable generation facilities in operation, with over 3 GW of near and mid-term development opportunities. Prior to BluEarth, Kelly supported the successful growth of Canadian Hydro Developers by leading the development of many first-of-their-kind wind, solar and hydroelectric projects across Canada.

Kelly is passionate about authenticity in leadership. She has first-hand experience in forging and maintaining successful partnerships with corporate, financial, Indigenous, and community stakeholders through the course of project development and execution, dynamic corporate growth, and M&A.
