Lauren Epstein is General Partner of Storytime Capital, a pre-seed and seed stage venture fund investing in the future of work across Canada, the United States, and Israel. Before Storytime, Lauren spent a decade in early-stage venture capital and family office investing, and began her career as a commercial litigation lawyer.
Lauren also serves as Senior Advisor and Vice President at Epstein Enterprises Inc., a family office, and sits on the board of Katalyst Data Management. She is a member of the Board of Governors at Havergal College and mentors founders through organizations such as Women in VC, Creative Destruction Lab, and Next Canada.
Lauren holds a bachelor’s in Government, cum laude, from Harvard University and completed the joint JD/MBA program at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and the Rotman School of Management, graduating first in her class in the MBA program and as the gold medalist among the JD/MBA students.
Lauren is passionate about entrepreneurs, the Canadian innovation ecosystem, giving back to the community, and her family, including her husband, son, and daughter.
