Lauren Epstein

Venture Partner, Storytime Capital

Lauren Epstein is an investor, advisor, and lawyer. She works with corporates, investors, family offices, and start-ups to provide investment and business strategy advice to create and maximize opportunities in the innovation ecosystem. In addition, Lauren is a senior advisor at Epstein Enterprises Inc. and is a venture partner at Storytime Capital, which invests in ground-breaking pre-seed and seed-stage companies that are changing the future of work.

Lauren has worked in venture capital for almost a decade and previously spent several years working as a litigation lawyer at a leading Toronto commercial litigation law firm after clerking at the Ontario Court of Appeal. Lauren holds a bachelor’s in government, cum laude, from Harvard University and completed the joint JD/MBA program at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and the Rotman School of Management, graduating first in her class in the MBA program and as the gold medalist among the JD/MBA students.

Lauren is passionate about entrepreneurs, the Canadian innovation ecosystem, giving back to the community and her family, including her husband, son, and daughter.
