Louis-Nicolas Hamer has worked for more than 20 years in wireless, software and cloud products for telecommunications, security, facility automation and digital transformation and has brought many innovative products to market. As an experienced entrepreneur, he contributes his expertise to promising startups as an angel investor and member of Anges Quebec. He now helps organizations optimize and automate their business processes by leveraging the power of today’s growth enabling technologies: CRM, Accounting systems, mobile apps and complex cloud solutions. His previous success and business was SCL Elements, established in 2010. He and his associates led the development and commercialization of SCL’s CAN2GO line of multi-protocol wireless and wired controllers for building automation and monitoring via the cloud. SCL Elements was sold to French multinational Schneider Electric in 2012. Post-acquisition, Mr. Hamer held global business development and solution positions at Schneider Electric until early 2015. Mr. Hamer co-founded Eco2Max, an engineering firm specializing in energy efficiency and building automation. There, he assisted numerous organizations with energy audits and the implementation of efficiency measures such as lighting and HVAC system upgrades. Prior to founding his own company, he held R&D and product management positions at Nortel and at Verint, where he supervised the product life-cycle of several major products.
