Michael Bucella is co-founder and managing partner of Neoclassic Capital, a crypto and web3 focused investment firm.

Previously, Michael spent six years as general partner of BlockTower Capital, scaling the firm to $1B+ in AUM across five strategies. Prior to BlockTower, Michael spent nearly a decade with Goldman Sachs in New York, most recently in the securities division where he was running the multi-asset sales and trading business for the Canadian region, leading efforts to expand the strategy globally. Previous to this role, he led the institutional global equities franchise, also for the Canadian region. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2008 as part of the firm’s Asset Management division (GSAM), where he focused on cross-asset, global investment strategies for North American institutions. Michael also serves on the board of directors of TeraWulf (NASDAQ: WULF), an infrastructure-focused bitcoin mining company using hydro and nuclear power sources in the U.S.

Michael is a graduate of Fordham University, a donor and member of the Fordham University President’s Council. In his personal capacity, Michael is active in multiple philanthropic organizations, as well as many personal endeavours to directly aid relief missions in disaster-stricken areas.
