Nicole Alvino is the Founder and Chairwoman of Firstup, a leading workforce communication and orchestration platform that serves millions of employees at global enterprises and has scaled to over $100M in annual recurring revenue under her leadership. Previously as Co‑founder and Chief Strategy Officer of SocialChorus (now Firstup), she helped pioneer the employee communication category, partnering with many Fortune 500 brands to transform how they connect and align their workforces. A serial entrepreneur, Nicole began her founder journey with Dermolounge, an early innovator in using digital engagement to turn customers and employees into advocates. Earlier in her career, she worked on strategic transactions at Enron, where at age 23 she was entrusted with power of attorney on a $400M international power‑plant deal—an experience that ultimately pushed her toward building more transparent, values‑driven companies. Nicole holds a B.A. in Economics and Japanese from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
