Nicole LeBlanc is an investor with 2150, a new urban tech and sustainability focused VC based in Europe that invests in technology companies that seek to sustainably reimagine and reshape the urban environment. Prior to this Nicole was Director of Investments for Sidewalk Labs, an Alphabet company that build products and places to radically improve quality of life in cities for all. She led the corporate venture capital strategy focused on urban tech, as well as supporting the development of Quayside, a 12-acre site in Toronto that had hoped to be a global hub for urban development. Before joining Sidewalk she was a Director with both BDC Capital and NBIF, investing and managing a portfolio of 150+ seed stage startups.
Nicole began her career as a CPA, including roles as a controller at Ganong Bros. Ltd., an East Coast family-run confectionery manufacturer that invented the chocolate bar. She stays active in the community through board roles at Innovacorp, Propel and Brilliant Labs, as well as actively mentoring with Creative Destruction Lab, Next Canada and Techstars.
