Paul Lee is Founder and Managing Partner of Vanedge Capital Partners Ltd, a venture capital fund based in Vancouver.

Paul was Principal of Distinctive Software that merged with Electronic Arts where he went on to become President of EA and was responsible for all worldwide development.

Paul has been an active angel investor for more than 30 years, participating in many successful investments including ALI Technologies, Blast Radius, Bycast and D-Wave Systems.

He currently serves as on the boards of the Faculty Advisory Board for UBC’s Sauder School of Business, Rideau Hall Foundation, SensorUp, Vendasta, Quantum Gravity Society, Alice Technologies and the Vancouver Police Foundation.

In 2023, Vanedge Capital won the Canadian Venture Capital Association’s award “VC Deal of the Year” and its “VC Global Dealmaker of the Year”. In 2025 Vanedge Capital again won the “VC Global Dealmaker of the Year”.
