Shanti Rao is a physicist and spacecraft mission architect. He designed and built spacecraft instruments at JPL for 16 years. Before that, he started and sold a software company. Big Data From Space will enable greater agricultural yields at lower and more predictable risks. Shanti has a PhD. in physics from Caltech and two bachelor’s degrees from UW. He also plays the piano and is really into coaching kids’ soccer.
