Stacey Grant-Thompson is an innovative C-level leader with broad and deep expertise in digital transformation and artificial intelligence across multiple industries. She is a marketing and customer experience expert who has successfully scaled and optimized businesses using data-driven marketing models, and a pragmatic strategist with strong operational experience as a P&L owner. A Governance & Nominating chair within the NFP space, Stacey is effectively leading board renewal, term limit changes and ED search. She is an integrated thinker who can simplify complex issues and communicate effectively to move people and initiatives forward.

As CMO of Manulife Canada, Stacey led a complete refresh of the Canadian brand, implemented progressive performance marketing strategies and led numerous digital transformation initiatives. A GM with P&L responsibility at both Manulife and Rogers, she has a unique ability to combine customer understanding and business profitability drivers into strategy, operational plans and results.  Stacey has an innate drive for continuous improvement that fuels an appetite to test new approaches while effectively balancing innovation with risk. She has been a leader of Advanced Analytics (AA) teams throughout her career. At Manulife, Stacey built out the team to serve the Canadian Division, and championed the power of utilizing and implementing AA across the business in pricing, fraud detection, claims management and marketing.

Stacey is a confident and articulate communicator who motivates teams and drives change. She is an insightful and effective advisor as a board member in multiple organizations. Stacey is a digital-first leader and pioneer who brings a pragmatic understanding of data, online experience, operations and systems architecture to transformation initiatives. At ING Direct, she led the optimization of critical acquisition and service opportunities, creating a one-step conversion process, and launching a transactional website and new account sign-up capability. She has exceptional skills in strategy and problem-solving which she honed as a consultant with McKinsey & Company.
