Taylor is the CEO and a founding employee of MistyWest, a Vancouver-based engineering firm developing novel embedded systems for mining, logistics, and infrastructure. He has led the company as CEO for the past four years and is an advisor to the Creative Destruction Lab.
A UBC Engineering Physics graduate, Taylor has over 15 years of experience designing and leading engineering teams to build hardware for applications in cosmology, molecular biology, agriculture, and mining. He was a lead inventor on a patented miniaturized optical particle counter, and his work has contributed to spin-out companies of Google X.
