Adam de Sola Pool

Adam de Sola Pool is a venture capitalist and the special advisor on innovation and entrepreneurship at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. With over 20 years of experience as an angel investor and an early-stage venture capitalist, Adam has been a pioneer in both clean tech and ocean tech investment. Among Adam’s startups is Continental Wind Partners, which developed and built the largest wind parks in Europe in the early 2000s and was exited in 2022 for over $2B. Adam has been the CEO of both start-up companies and three venture capital funds. He is currently an emeritus partner with the Clean Energy Venture Group, an operating advisor at PropellerVC, a partner in the SeaAhead Blue Angels, a member of the Launchpad Venture Group and MIT Angels.
