I try to be involved in one-to-many and many-to-more efforts to achieve scale.”

Over four decades of operating and investing experience include global operation of financial and physical commodity trading businesses involving innovations in physical and financial market facilities, acquisitions, public issues, and the requisite experiences that come along with these; regulatory, pirates, difficult oligarchs, and more. Three decades were with Koch Industries companies and the last decade has been in private investment.

Doug is Chair of Eavor Technologies, Innova Cleantech, EnviCore, and eMurmur, board member at InterGen, investigator for Ontario Genomics BioCreates program, mentor for UCeed student fund Energy portfolio team, and presently Associate for Creative Destruction Labs Defence, Energy, AgriFood, Prime, Health, and AI streams at CDL Rockies, Doha, and Global. Past involvement also includes Manufacturing, Digital Society, Covid Response, XPrize Carbon Removal including Melbourne, Toronto, Seattle, Tartu, Rockies, and Global locations.
