Edoardo is the Chief Technology Officer at CubicFarms, an ag-tech company providing automated on-site commercial-scale food and livestock feed technologies. He also serves as the Co-Chair of the Board of Digital Technology Supercluster and a member of the Board of BC Tech. In the start-up scene, he advises Synthiam, a Calgary-based robotics software platform company.
Prior to CubicFarms, he was the General Manager at Microsoft Vancouver, the company’s sole Canadian development center and one of the six worldwide. Edoardo comes from a truly extensive background in the gaming industry. He began his tech journey at Black Box Games as a Producer, where he released his first title – Sega Soccer Slam. Following the EA’s acquisition of Black Box, Edoardo joined EA as the Franchise Development Director and directed the delivery of the franchise-leading, number-one-selling game worldwide – Need for Speed Underground. His passion for the gaming business and culture-building never stopped and led him to his next journey at Next Level Games. He first joined Next Level Games as the Director of Development, then moved his way up to become the Studio General Manager, in which he played a critical role in making the culture shift that earned the company various honours, including WorkLife BC Awards and Canada’s Top 100 Employers, for consecutive years.
Edoardo holds a bachelor’s degree with a Double Major in Economics and Geography from Simon Fraser University.
