Camilla Hughes is a capital markets and ESG professional who is uniquely placed to provide strategic advice and prepare companies for raising capital or for standalone life in public markets. She has extensive experience working with companies enabling climate transition, providing deep insight into stakeholder and environmental stewardship. Camilla has a depth and breadth of sector and financial markets knowledge and has built a demonstrable record of success in shaping and driving value creation and corporate growth. She has advised many young companies and worked in the tech sector for a high-growth startup during the dot com boom of the ’90s – Camilla is not your typical banker. She enjoys the challenges of understanding how different business models must evolve to stay ahead and brings up-to-date knowledge of how capital markets operate and what investors care about most.

Until September 2023, Camilla led the ESG advisory work in the investment banking division at Rothschild & Co. Prior to this role, she had a diverse investment banking career at Credit Suisse as a strategic member of its Capital Markets and Advisory coverage team, specializing in tech, consumer, real estate and industrials, and at UBS in its EMEA Equity Capital Markets division. She also worked with Marketpipe (then a fintech startup and now part of IHS Markit) as its Head of Strategy and Development prior to its successful sale to Ipreo in 2007. Camilla currently sits on the board of Glenveagh Plc, one of Ireland’s leading listed homebuilders, where she is chair of the ESG committee. She is also a member of the Remuneration Committee of Lincoln College, Oxford University. She is now in the process of building a NED portfolio in the Plc, private and not-for-profit segments.

Camilla read PPE at Oxford University and is an alumna of London Business School and The Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership She lives South West of London, has raised four girls, and is passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion.
