CDL Blockchain/Web3 is an 11-month startup program offered at HEC Montréal and the Rotman School of Management. Beginning in late July and concluding in mid June, the CDL Blockchain/Web3 stream supports founders that are building the next iteration of the internet through decentralized and metaverse technologies.
The Blockchain/Web3 stream brings together experienced entrepreneurs, technologists, and active investors to help scale ventures developing blockchain and metaverse technologies. CDL Blockchain/Web3 is tailored for visionary entrepreneurs developing applications that have the potential to transform financial institutions, disrupt the gaming industry, or bring bold innovation in governance.
The CDL Blockchain/Web3 program consists of 2 components:
- CDL Blockchain/Web3 Bootcamp is an intensive 1-week virtual crypto-economics and business bootcamp led by industry and academic leaders in blockchain, peer-to-peer networking.
- CDL Mentorship program includes up to 4 objective-setting sessions to sharpen objectives, prioritize time and resources, and help raise capital in addition to an international networking Super Session for graduating Ventures.
Who Should Apply?
The CDL Blockchain/Web3 program is ideal for visionary, coachable founders building technologies across the blockchain and metaverse technology stack. This stream is tailored towards early-stage companies (early venture or growth) or even projects (pre-incorporation); however, startups at all levels of maturity will be considered.
