CDL-Montreal runs a program focused on artificial intelligence and data science to capitalize on Montreal’s expertise in the sector. The city has the largest AI academic community globally, with 250 researchers and doctoral students in AI-related fields. Major players, such as DeepMind, Facebook, Google, Microsoft and Samsung, are investing in Montreal’s AI ecosystem. CDL-Montreal also offers a stream for entrepreneurs working on problems related to supply chains, in collaboration with Scale AI, Canada’s Supercluster, whereby local partners in manufacturing, logistics and transport are leveraged.
