Kristen Smithson is an experienced space industry leader, formerly serving as Chief of Staff and Vice President of Business Operations at Spaceflight, Inc. and in mission operations at NASA Johnson Space Center. Kristen has operational expertise in corporate strategy, organizational development, and product and service development. She is recognized as an expert at bringing together talented individuals with distinctive skill sets into a highly effective team to grow and scale a business. Kristen holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Valparaiso University.
