Mahdi Ramezani is the VP of data analytics and architecture at Intelex technologies where he provides leadership in AI, ML, and analytics and architecture to develop technologies. Prior to that, he was the chief technology officer at ehsAI, where he developed the company’s technology vision, strategy, and tactics in alignment with its business goals. Mahdi spearheaded all technical M&A and due diligence activities in ehsAI’s private equity funding and the sale of ehsAI to Fortive in 2020. He motivated the work stream leads throughout the duration of the post-acquisition integration to confirm that all goals are achieved.
Previously, Mahdi was the director of core research and development at Motion Metrics International Corp, where he led product development within a cross-functional team of AI researchers, software developers, and hardware engineers. At Motion Metrics, he previously built the AI team from scratch and led deep-learning scientists on computer vision projects for various mining applications.
Before joining the company, Mahdi did his PhD at the University of British Columbia, where his research focus was machine learning, medical image analysis, and computer-assisted surgery. Mahdi holds a master’s and bachelor’s in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
