AI Program Delivery Partner

“Putting AI to Work” Program at Creative Destruction Lab

Position Title: AI Program Delivery Partner (Full-Time, 40 hours/week); Fixed Term Contract
Program: Putting AI to Work
Location: Remote, with flexibility to work in an office environment
Type: Independent Contractor
Reports To: VP, Creative Destruction Lab

About Creative Destruction Lab (CDL):
Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) is a nonprofit organization that delivers an objectives-based program for massively scalable, seed-stage, science- and technology-based companies around the world. Our mission is to accelerate the commercialization of science for the betterment of humankind. CDL’s nine-month program allows deep-tech founders to learn from experienced entrepreneurs, increasing their likelihood of success.

About CDL’s Putting AI to Work Program:
Putting AI to Work is a 12-month, cohort-based initiative developed by Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) to help large organizations translate artificial intelligence into measurable business impact. The program is grounded in the research and frameworks of CDL founder Ajay Agrawal, co-author of the bestselling books Prediction Machines and Power & Prediction: The Disruptive Economics of Artificial Intelligence. Designed to accelerate AI implementation in large organizations, the program supports teams in selecting, deploying, and scaling AI solutions that aim to deliver a 20% productivity lift—either through cost savings, output improvements, or enhanced service quality within two years.

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced professional with 6-8 years of consultancy experience in the AI field to join our team as an AI Program Delivery Partner. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AI and Gen AI applications & strategies, demonstrated success in managing proofs of concept (POCs), and expertise in deploying AI solutions within enterprise organizations. Exceptional customer-facing skills and a focus on delivering high customer value are essential.

The ideal candidate is passionate about AI and its possibilities for creating a better future for humanity. The individual is naturally curious, works well in a team environment, and has a strong passion for problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Leading AI discovery, guidance, and strategy sessions with program participants.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for program participants and partners.
  • Development and delivery of stakeholder-facing content associated with the program journey on a weekly basis.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure alignment and achievement of program objectives.

Participant Coordination:

  • Liaise between program participants and the CDL team, providing support and guidance throughout the program journey.
  • Organize and lead regular check-ins and progress meetings with participants to monitor their development and address any challenges.
  • Apply judgment to address any critical challenges, modify content or program delivery, as required.
  • Assist participants in connecting industry experts, as relevant to their program journey.
  • Sustain positive relationships within the CDL network, program participants, and experts engaged in the program.

Executive Interaction:

  • Engage with C-suite executives and senior leaders from various industries to foster program involvement and support.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to C-suite executives, showcasing program goals, outcomes, and proposed areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate executive meetings and discussions to drive participant engagement.
  • Obtain internal alignment on approach to executive-level interaction within program cohorts.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless program operations and delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, contribute to strategic discussions, and deliver on weekly operational tasks.

Core Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in the AI field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in: business consultancy management; technology, strategy and transformation; or a related role.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Minimum 3 years experience acting as a primary contact for C-level executives at large enterprises.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Preferred: MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship.
