Peter Kondos

Dr. Kondos’ career has been devoted in transforming organizations through innovation and delivering highly effective technology solutions within Barrick Gold, Inco (Vale), and Noranda (Glencore) in major mining projects in operation to-date. The ability to adjust to working environments and work in teams, while creating long term roadmaps or solving immediate industrial challenges foster value creation in a sustainable way. He is the co-founder of YaKum Innovative Mining Consultants, founding Board member of Ilios Hydrogen Canada and Board member of Cyclic Materials, two fascinating start-ups, member of several Advisory Boards and Adjunct Professor at UofT.

He is the recipient of the Sherritt Hydrometallurgy Award and two Innovation Awards in 2016 & 2019. He is also the ex-Chair of Canada Mining Innovation Council (CMIC, 2014-2016).
