Founding Partner, Pact

Tong is a founding partner at Pact, an early-stage VC firm that invests in future global businesses that can positively impact people’s work and lives.

Tong has spent her entire professional life in the technology industry over the past 16 years; from TMT investment banking, entrepreneurship and venture capital. Starting her career in technology and media investment banking, Tong spent six years between Citi and Compass Advisers in London and Hong Kong. She then went on to launch a B2B data analytics company in Shanghai. As the co-founder and COO, Tong built and grew a team of 40 people with the business successfully exited to one of China’s largest consulting groups.

Tong was one of the founding team members at ADV, an £150m early-stage venture capital fund.

She studied Information Systems Engineering, at Imperial College London and has an MBA from INSEAD.
